Streamlining Institutional Research Ethics Board Compliance

Expanded RDM Capabilities with FHIR-Standard IoMT Integration

myLaminin is advancing its research data management (RDM) platform to support seamless integration of clinical trial data from Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) devices and electronic medical record (EMR) systems using the FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) standard. This new functionality allows researchers to map IoMT device output ranging from numerical readings and image collections to location, movement, and text/document data directly to standardized FHIR elements, stored securely in the myLaminin research data repository, and if desired, directly into EMR (Electronic Medical Record) platforms.


With this upgrade, myLaminin enables more efficient, standardized, and interoperable clinical research workflows, bridging the gap between device-generated data, research repositories, and patient EMRs.
